Scheduling Appointments

Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for registration. At your initial visit your eyes may be dilated, so bring sunglasses to use after your examination. Plan to have someone drive you home if you think you won't be able to drive safely with your eyes dilated. Family members are always welcome to sit in on your exam, if you wish them to be there.

If you wear glasses, please bring them to your appointment.

It is important to bring your current insurance cards and, if needed, a physician's referral for your visit. Co-payments and fees for non-covered services (such as refractions and routine vision checks) are collected at the time of service. Some insurance companies approve routine eye examinations only every one or two years. You must verify your eligibility for such exams before the appointment.
